Caveman Spanish

Fourth and fifth grade Spanish students participated in an activity called "Caveman Spanish."

Students worked in groups to explore and identify several trinkets in a paper bag. They took turns holding up one item at a time while the other students produced short, simple phrases to describe the items they found. The favorite phrase was used to describe the kaleidoscope: "Muchos ojos!" Students had fun coming up with chunks of language and speaking in their fun "Caveman accents."
